Vision
To address the societal risks of technology that are almost completely ignored, yet like technology itself, are growing exponentially.
About My Writing Style
The style of writing that I use is large, broad, brush strokes.
In a world in hyper-specialization, the big picture of things is increasingly difficult to see as we are so often lost in the myriad of millions of of events. We can all see waves, but who can see the tide?
True, the devil is in the details as I often say, so, the broad claims I make will be supported by the majority of evidence. For example, if I say technology is disconnecting society, I must look at all behavior and generally avoid anecdotal, time-decaying events.
So, this makes the site read more like a textbook at times, with general evergreen principles, than a narrative of current events.
